So so so so angry.
sorry please let me throw my temper around, but before I do that, let me do some explaination.
ok, heres the story,
remember the previous post about calling? China did not give a reply as well, so my colleague called China and she's in charge. So china finally replied and gave up the file, but without the details from Hongkong.
And in the email it stated to call this guy who is the Hongkong Incharge for this, for the details. And so ya, I did!
GUESS WHAT?!
the moment I call, and the line was transferred from the operator to him, he knew my purpose of calling, he purposely told the China people to ask us to call him. Heres our conversation:
Yong: Hi Mr Mui, I'm calling from REHAU Singapore.
MUI: Hi, tell me who are you calling for. (meaning dept)Yong: I'm from the MARCOM dept.
MUI: Why must you call me, why can't you email me?Yong: I received email from TINY to contact you directly should I need any details?
MUI: Ok, lets just spent 5mins on this, I am busy.MUI: Ya, what you want?Yong: Oh its regarding the interzum questionnaire.
MUI: What about the questionnaire? (he knows).Yong: I need the SO info for the HK contacts.
MUI: Why last minute?Yong: Not last minute because yesterday was the deadline.
MUI: Then why is it I receive email from Shanghai only this afternoon?Yong: We sent the email to China since last week.
Yong was thinking: Its China who sent you late, not me?
MUI: Why must I provide you with the details?Yong: Because we need the information by today.
MUI: I have many things on hand, why do you all need it today?Yong: err.. we need to compile all the status by today.
MUI: Tell me what purpose you need it for.Yong: err.. to compile so we know the status?
(obviously I don't know anything cause I'm just suppose to collect and compile, not to answer questions.)
MUI: Tell me for what purpose I have to give them to you?Yong: errr... (shocked)
MUI: Why must I provide you with the details?Yong: (lost) err, cause the Marcom department just needs it?
MUI: You answer my question and then I'll answer yours.MUI: Tell me what benefit do I get from giving you the details?Yong: errr...
MUI: I am very busy and why should I waste time to give you the details?Yong: Because we really need it urgently by today.
MUI: Then why do I only receive the email from Shanghai today?!(DUH, not I send you the email late)...
Yong: err, sorry I'm just an intern here and I was told to just get the details only.
MUI: You tell the person who as you to come to me to contact me him/herself and I will scream at them.Yong: Errr... ok..
MUI: Ok? So unless you answer all these questions of mine, I'll not give you any details. Ok?Yong: errr... ok.. (LL).
*hangs*.
Thats roughly the whole conversation. It lasted quite long, and I must say his attitude is really bad, right from the start, he knew my purpose of call, and he has planned for this to happen already. I know because the moment he pick up the phone, his tone is very bad and unfriendly.
What's wrong with Chinese? I have bad impression with China people because when they talk, they are very noisy. Now I have super bad impression with HongKong people because they are really rude, I mean, is it right to go so fierce on the phone with someone you've never talked to?
Acutally, I should have emailed him, because I'm sure, in the email he would not dare to be so rude because of black and white written down clearly. But on phone no evidence. But the reason I chose phone because this data my colleague tell me very urgent, then its like near office ending hours already, of course use call to speed things up. Who knows..
After the call, I was so pissed and sad that I nearly broke down and cry. But of course I didn't and would not.
Alright, end of story, I'm leaving the office now and gonna go for cellgroup, cya again tonight. Cheers.
