Working under pressure is good, but working under the pressure of impossibility is bad. Why do I say so? Because those people wants to have their intranet so super
informative, I have like 30 over pages, excluding the data included, I still have to implement
log in, validating, file uploading, user creating, user deleting.
I nearly broke into tears yesterday in the office. My "bosses" (2 of them) they bombarded me with their requirement and they could not understand why after 2 weeks nothing has been done yet. I admit I am at fault for slacking, but hey, still I was trying to solve the server problem for a whole week. And the both of them are like overseas and stuffs, basic information needed on the website have not even send me yet.
What can I do? Like they said, build up the website structure, and my mind goes "that is so easy la, the
emphasis should not be on that!". They wanted a log in at the start, and the company server has problems with my start page, shouldn't I focus on solving that? Instead of doing and doing and doing till we realise nothing can be shown and done.
Anyway, thank God for having Ai, went to her house straight after work for some comfort and yes my smart little girl helped me. Power at coding indeed, I must say for this SIP she has learnt the most stuffs. Thanks Ai, without you and God, I don't know how to do. But there is still an error with the php.ini file in the server.
This is like one of the time I felt so lost and empty, and I realise, indeed I can do nothing but rely on Him because He can do all things. I pray and I hope, that everything can turn out fine.
In about 3 hours from now, if the problem doesn't gets solved, byebye to the intranet Ai did. Sorry Ai, wasted your efforts for staying up till 3a.m with me last night. But like you said, it's an experience God gave me and also a challenging task to complete, at least I did what I could but the problem lies with their server.
(I just realise I have 62 .php pages, not 30...)God is faithful and He loves you. He will make a wayjunyong
