TRANSFORMERS
Robots in Disguise.

Alrighty, I went to plaza Singapura yesterday to watch Transformers with Ai. If I were to rate this movie, 1 being very badly done and 10 being the best show ever. I'll rate it..

10/10

There was this fine day during late May when I'm watching a movie (which I forgot which show...) and came this trailer of Transformers. Ever since then, I've been waiting/craving/obsess with this show. Long awaiting its arrival, but wait for like a month? And finally its out, really worth watching.

A show by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg, Paramount and Dreamworks! If you'll like, you can go to Youtube to watch some "in the making" videos, but be prepared for spoilers. And I really like those cars featured, and how they made use of explosives to create some effect (because Michael Bay did not want to rely on CGI alone).

Basic storyline of this show is that there is a powerful object (known as cube) that contains a tremendous amount of power, and there are two robots alien faction which is the Autobots(good) and the Decepticons(bad), the bad wants the cube and the good tries to stop them, simple.

And the cube is right on earth, so of course they came and fight here. The coolest part I like about this show is the modeling of the Robot characters and how the robots transform and how they take up a few shapes of the things they see (for example: a handphone, a radio, a car, helicopter etc.)

The animation is simply great, its like a huge evolution from 2d to 3d since the cartoon Transformers. And even though I was seated on the front second row, with the big screen above that I can't concentrate on, I was able to enjoy the whole movie. One thing I didn't like, is that the bad guys die too FAST.

My favourite Characters are the OPTIMUS PRIME(leader of Autobots) and BUMBLEBEE(yellow Chervolet), Starscream (Decepticon, F-22 Raptor Jet) and Blackout(Decepticon, SIKORSKY helicopter.

Btw, I believe Playstation 3 have a game on that. Makes me wanna buy a Playstation 3 so badly just to play that game, supposingly it'll be somewhat similar to Mechwarrior but better. Anyone wish to donate/give a Playstation 3 to me? Probably an advance birthday present? But I'd prefer the game to come out for PC then I'm gonna get it. (but again, my comp would not support it i suppose..sad)

Feeling so restless and sleepy.

Probably because I had too little sleep yesterday. And today I went to work on my own, because I needed to sleep a little longer on my bed, so I asked my dad to leave without me and I woke up at 7.30a.m and made my way to work.

After reaching office, I realise I haven got much to do except slack and do research, and I feel so tired just thinking about it. Time now is 10.35a.m. yet I ain't awake (after a mug of coffee). And then again, I don't know how to research on those topics and basically to say, same like yesterday, I have nothing to do in the office.

Luckily I bought my book out to read on the train, will probably read it in the office later. And tonight, I'm going to watch Transformers! (provided there are seats available). And I'll post a review on the movie when I'm done with it =).

Woo man, can't wait for my major project/final year project (mp/fyp) to come, its gonna be fun and exciting! And I seriously hope that our proposal would be accepted in order to do what I like to do.

I know many would say I'm crazy, why would anyone hope for the project to come, but there's 2 reason for me to get so excited.

#1. Its our 3rd year 2nd Semester, therefore after the project and not long after, we'll graduate!!

#2. Its time to put effort and time into something serious, something that we really learn in school and it would be an asset to our portfolio.

Well, I just love animations, those fantastic drawings, 3d graphics. And putting them into one, you'll get anime, that's why I love anime too =). In animations, a different world from reality is created, and because our body yearns for a place like this, that's the reason why some people are really indulge into it. Its partly the reason why I like anime so much, and not to forget about those amazing drawings.

Its really incredible that someone can start everything from scratch into a full fledge animation. I wish to created a website that can be used to showcase animations/drawings, be it works of my own or others, as long as there are drawings, graphics, storyline.

So now my current goal is to complete my major project. And in the meantime, do a personal portfolio, and constantly upgrading it. Hoping that in future, this portfolio would help me to secure a career in the animation field.

Remember my post about talents and goals? I can't say that I've found my talents but I can say that I've found my goals and dreams.

Even though currently I'm in the office with practically nothing to do, and I wish the company laptop have photoshop, dreamweaver and flash. At least this free time slot gives me the space to imagine and think.
