Yes, that's right!

No you didn't see wrongly!! Yes I've finally got my WACOM!! Yeap, the last day of the IT fair at Suntec. Still the price is @ $499, thanks to my Mummy that funded me.

The whole day when I'm working (12pm - 9pm) I'm like thinking about buying it, then its like when i end work, the IT fair ends as well. So basically at around 7pm, I asked my supervisor to let me go buy, and wow it's super crowded, force my way and went as fast as I could, spent 499 in 15mins. haha.

Well, I started my day at ALL SAINTS MEMORIAL CHURCH. Went to pay respects to my Aunt (who is now waiting for me in Heaven), it's her 2nd death anniversary. And man, 2 years pass so fast! Anyway, the place might be old, but it feels really good, really different from the Buddhist kinda place I normally visit during the tombsweeping day. A place with God is really different, it's not at all eerie, but I feel really at peace over there, I can look at the tablets and smile and really happy that they are happily home with the Lord.

And like I mentioned above, I'm suppose to start work at 12pm, ended up I left the church at 11.50a.m, and got to Kovan Mrt at 12pm. Luckily it took me only 20mins to reach Suntec. And today was quite busy since there's only me and my supervisor working.

Wait! Not yet, I really wanna say that I'm so happy and so freaking excited today!! It's even more exciting than getting O'lvls. This day (Father's Day), marks the beginning of my step to my dream! And I'm happy that my Dad is the one that is the most supportive in me buying the Wacom!

I know that I got this wacom, it's not because of anyone else but because of God, He made it possible because He knows what I really desire. I was really depressed ytd night when my mummy told me she's short on money to lend me, cause there was the insurance fee and stuffs lidat.

So, I give the all the Glory and all the praise to God, my heavenly Father. Happy Father's Day!!

[Last but not least, Ai asked me to blog about her so you guys will know that I havent forget her. Alright, I wanna say that Ai will always be the 1st I wanna share my excitement with. And also the one I will need companionship with when I'm worried. Therefore I called her before I got my Wacom, and after I got my Wacom. Love you Ai!]

Alright.

I realise after like a few days into my holidays. I haven been productive at all. I'm really ashame to say that. Because I have so much plans for my holidays and yet it seems I'm like spending time to sleep, to make up for those lost of sleep during my working days. Basically to put it in simpler terms, slacking my way through.

But well, I'm gonna change all of that. To make long story short, I'm gonna make a plan for my days ahead. Like I've been wanting to jog since the last day of my work, but have not put it into practice because I couldn't wake up in the morning to execute it. And really wish to make a portfolio for myself. At least something to showcase what I'm capable or rather able to do.

You know, like I've mentioned, I really have many plans and stuffs I wish to complete during this holidays. I have a blogskin I wish to make and also a full fledge animation on my own. But I believe that I've already lost the skills needed to accomplish that (probably never had the skill either). And current under the training of my two dear friends (Jayel and Sam) for my drawing skills which currently under the category of "NEWBIE". But I believe and I will that one day my drawing will improve to a certain level, probably "PRO" (a decent drawing).

And I have a few items really HIGH on my wishlist.

NUMBER ONE ITEM : WACOM TABLET.
(alright, I really want this badly, I believe I can do so much more with it, because using a mouse to draw digitally is really tedious, ya.)

NUMBER TWO ITEM: Easel & Conte.
(traditional medium for drawing, although I haven use it before, but jayel says its good and i believe him!)

These items I believe they make up my NEED category, while some other items below (listing in chunks) are probably just WANTS.

Like: DS LITE, new bag, tappered jeans, earring, new wallet, new clothes, new shoes.

Hmm, you might be wondering why sudden wishlist, well its just here to remind myself what I NEED and WANT. So those stuffs would not go in the wrong category.

Every single minute in the office, I think about the tablet lying on my table (my Ai too of course). Its because it's not mine, that's why I need to make full use of it while I can. And currently I have so many things I wish to draw on.

And I can't wait to fly home and draw draw draw. Sounds absurd? Probably, because as compared to what I'm doing now (data entry and researching on Marcom) I'd rather draw, design, and stuffs, more interested in them.

Alright, as I went to youtube and did some "walking" around (to be exact - surfing around) and then I came across this video that caught my attention. After 2 minutes, I am very amazed with the clip put up. Basically it's just a stop motion animation, which is very tedious and time consuming especially with LEGO brick building. And very creative and original.

Some information on stop-motion incase you didn't know. It is different from a movie/video clip, as the name suggest, its a stop and motion. Meaning, still pictures placed together to form a motion. Just like frame by frame, this is picture by picture, so imagine how many picture were used in the video above? (If every motion = 1 picture). Just to give you an rough idea about it. Cheers.

My goodness...

this is really a different level of drawing haha, you'll see later. Alright as you can see, the previous post below is about my drawing in the office using a logitech ball mouse. Now I'm using a Wacom tablet (jL's) at home!

Here's how things go, after blessing jL with a 3-day use of my laptop, he is blessing me now with his Wacom tablet! Thanks man, gosh its really nice.

How nice can it be? Let the picture talk.



I drew this portrait of myself, using Adobe Photoshop CS2. Kinda amazed by the output, because 1stly, I've never use Photoshop to draw, and neither have I draw on a Wacom tablet. So everything is new, and initial I did not have the driver, so there was alot of difficulty using the pen as it shakes violently. Decided to search for it online, (if you need it, go http://www.wacom.com/) and installed it.

And btw, I'm not an artist, this picture I hand-drew it with a low-opacity image (of me) behind. Basically I just trace the outline of the face and sketch the rest out. And if you compare this with the Kurosaki Ichigo I drew awhile ago using paint and ball mouse, its like.. you know it.

So ya, I'll like to dedicate this page to thank jL for lending me his tablet, so that I can actually try it out. Dude thousand thanks to you man, and do ask for his portfolio, because I think they are great too. Cheers! God bless.
