This post is gonna be a long one, so I suggest you take a minute or so to prepare for it. Basically this post contains the images that I've long wanted to put it up here, and those in this post are only a small fragment of them. So it's gonna be a little random.

Lets start things off with my oversea packages:


My Cube4you package from China


Yay, my cubesmith package from California!


The contents in the package - Scrapeblade x1, 2x2x2 Chrome Stickers x1, 3x3x3 Texture Tiles x2, 4x4x4 Texture Tiles x1, 5x5x5 Texture Tiles x1


This is how they look like, the colors and stuffs after I unpacked them.


Removed the old stickers from the DIY cube and attached the new Cubesmith tiles!


The leftovers after sticking up the tiles, made something "useful" with them.


Well, the 5x5x5's got 150 tiles if you calculated, so I decided to make pattens on it as I go along to make the process interesting..


I believe you see the progress from the above to this...


Ahhh.. Finally completed the makeover!

Btw, I wanted to make some countdown timer to my enlistment date like soooo long ago, but since it's not long time away, I decided to give up the idea, also it might make Aiai sian. So I guess I'll make a countdown timer to ORD instead =x. But that'll wait until I'm really enlisted - in 18days from the date above.

Woot!

I'm happy! Finally got my long awaited package from CUBESMITH!~ =). Yes, my first ever package from California! And the tiles are being packed nicely in the pastic cover (yes, unlike the ones from china, even thou they are packed in plastic covers too) and I felt that my wait was worth it!

Soon I'll be dressing my cubes with the new stickers and yes my plain 5x5x5 will be able to work =). So look forward to seeing my cubes up here soon, and yeah i'll post the pictures.

btw, the stickers doesnt make me solve my cube faster, its just a preference and you know, it'll actually last. And the timing for the solves are just a recording, nothing to boast about. =)

bah! I'm back!

It's not like I just woke up or anything, but because I'm just too lazy to blog, fell sick few days ago. And yeah, today I woke up at 0630hrs. And once again I've made another replica of milo-in-a-coke-bottle.

This time, it's milo-in-a-vanilla-coke-bottle. LOL! (and it's chilled):

And this is my collection of cubes, yeah those white ones are the DIY cubes I was talking about ealier, I got them fixed but not lubed yet, and to my surprise, the 5x5x5 eastsheen cube is smaller than what I expected.. hmm..

Alright, last but not least, happy birthday SINGAPORE! Later gonna go out with CG to botanical gardens for some outdoor fun, and probably gonna meet the FREAKs to hang out tgt =).
