Woohooo.

One word to describe me now (and also everyone else), burnt. Today was one great fun day. Although we only had like 6 of us for the morning section. Wasn't that ideal because Douglas and Kelvin not planning to get wet, no extra clothes hehe, and then yes it rained and sun and rained and sun and rained and sun again. We ran in and out of the hall with our belongings alot of time. Things start getting fun when Guisheng and Tiffany turned up, solely because GuiSheng brought a mat and a volleyball (finally we had something to play with). JJ left for home not long after due to the quick changing weather, and yes the weather was abit spoilt lol.

Played volleyball, basketball, play with water, sand castle (pyramid instead.) building and sun tanning. The people from the morning sections spent the whole afternoon since 11am till 5pm in the sun. Yes we are all RED.

Finally Gillian, jL, Rickson and also Tiff's bf, Jun Rong and his fren Gabriel reached. So yeah, had a short game and then played for a while longer then we went to bathe and stuffs. Around 7 we sat at the bus station to picnic! Really fun haha, everyone is like each bring different food then share tgt. After that went for the musical fountain (oh man, it's a totally new thing from the last time i went..) it's really nice with special effects like fireball, fireworks and stuffs, best of all it only cost like $6 for 20mins of entertainment. Worth it man.

After that we took the train back to Vivocity, everyone went home leaving Me, Ai, Rickson and jL. We went up to the playground at Vivo and started doing lame stunts and take photos, in the end we ended up playing with the kids there ! And there was a slope we sat back facing on the ledge, Rickson asked me to pose PowerRanger and he pushed me and i flipped backwards down, this happens to jL as well (don't worry, it didn't hurt, it felt great actually. Thrilled). Basically there was a lot of strange statues (or figures) and we took pic with all of them, I like this one best:

Thank everyone that celebrated (advance) my birthday, and yes, I really like the drawing did by jL, it's great and I love it. A piggy bank box that helps me to save up money for my WACOM!! Yes, inside jL drew a wacom lol. And the outside looks like this:





















Yes, thats me and then the cutie by the side is my Ai =D. The black part at my hands there is a hole to slot the money in, yeah. Cool. Love it!

Alright, I guess since I love my country so much, I shall start off with..

HAPPY 42nd BIRTHDAY [ SINGAPORE ] !!!~

Oh yes yes, time really flies doesn't it? Looking back, last year we spent our national day in Kbox, a few of us together. But this year, everyone seems to be so dead, and it makes me wanna stay at home to watch the parade, YET wanting to go out and meeting with my dear friends. Such a dilemma isn't it? But well, since using SICK as an excuse (I'm really sick), I might as well as stay at home to rest and watch the parade.

Hmm, you know.. thinking back further this time, back to the secondary school life, friends and then the O'levels period, then the seperation into polytechnics and then meeting new friends in polytechnic, and those times in the poly. I kinda miss it, I miss everyone I know in secondary school (esp sec 1/2F and 3/4D..) and also those in the poly, only a few of them in contact, and I really do miss them all. All the fun and crappy times we had. Although we might not get to re-live them, I'll be sure to cherish them deep within my heart, all those who have came into my life, thank you..

And back to reality, I just realise that (after reminded from dearest Ai,) my birthday is less than a month away! I'm really shock because Minfei's birthday seems like yesterday and so fast it's mine already? So yah, I'm really unsure of what to do actually, like the organising of outing and stuffs.

Maybe I should get my wishlist up here? (but I don't really have a wishlist.)
alright maybe I'll just think of something... here goes.

- WACOM Tablet! (my #1. want.)
- Nitendo DS Lite (Ai is buying it for me! So ex! But of course I'll be happy to receive it. =] and you'll get a PSP from me for your birthday then.. hehe.)
- More CHEAP white shoes and fabric markers to draw. (or any other ART materials.)
- My POSB debit card.. (haven got time to go make one, anyway there is like so little cash left..)
- A new wallet. (the current one I'm using is super tattered and it sticks to my pocket.. -_-)
- My very own flash animation (of course no one can get me this except myself)
- More inspirational books to read.
- Basically any gift from anyone is fine (better than no gift.). Hand-made gifts are also cherished.

By the way, I am not expecting anyone else to meet this wishlist, because I know it'll be quite impossible as some of those listed are really expensive like the WACOM and the DS Lite. And either way I'm not trying to hint anyone to buy anything for me. But at least my requirement for a decent birthday is one with a present ok? You can share with 30 people I don't mind but I just want a present, it could be a stack of A4 white paper wrapped with newspaper. I'll still cherish it.

My view is that, a birthday isn't complete without a present. Just like Christmas without santa thinking.. And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to DEMAND a present. I'm just saying, I'll be expecting one, and even there isn't any, it's fine =D. Wishes are great as well. Heh.

Alrighty, I'm better off in bed for now, time to rest rest resty. And not to forget, Happy birthday to dearest Singapore. And boy oh boy, I'm really glad to be living in such a safe and blessed place despite it being boring. =)

Everyday there's a war raging inside me.

I don't know about you, but today my dad gotta leave home at 6.30 (which I don't intend to wake up so early and slack in the office) so I woke up and told him I'll go work on my own later. So I went back into dreamland, alarm rang, my dad called to wake me up again at 7.20a.m.

I myself knew that I need to leave my house by 7.30a.m in order to reach the office on time. But even though it was 7.20a.m I still laze on my bed, and really reluctant to go to work. There is this battle between my emotion (feelings) and responsibility (my work).

I'm sure most of us face such battles in our everyday life, I'm not just talking about waking up, but the decisions you make everyday. I'm not gonna elaborate more but if you need more about that, you may visit Jinlong's blog on the topic "Make up your mind NOW!".

My brother Dennis got his most memorable birthday present ever! He got sick... on his birthday. Well, most of us would go awww~ but I see that as an opportunity to rest, a valid reason to get away from this fast pace society.

Of course being sick doesn't make you feel happy, in fact it makes you weary and feel terrible but without sickness, how do you cherish times of being healthy? Its a contrast, everything is a guideline to how you judge things around you.

Talking about my brother, remember I bought him cuff links? (refer to the birthday post if you don't). So for like yesterday, I kept thinking about those cuff links I saw and man, they are nice. And then, this morning a thought struck me, like why am I being obsess with it? I mean, they are expensive and I've got no use for it, might as well as use the money to do something meaningful.

And I realise, I haven been giving back to the society, we think of our working pay as 'we deserve it' and its ours. But lets look at working in another way, think of working as providing help for your boss/company/etc... and the pay you are getting as a GIFT for helping out. When we help, we don't EXPECT a REWARD.

And in another sense, this GIFT gives us financial aid. So shouldn't we give thanks by returning part of it back into the society? Sharing your present (just like sharing a box of chocolate on valentine's) with others that don't have it? Its a joy for being able to share.

Anyway bro, take good care of yourself, pray for healing, remember to rest well and get well soon! God bless.
