Welcome back!

Alright, I know I've just posted yesterday's post, yeah like I've mentioned, was really exhausted from all the excitement.

Every single day with the Lord is really getting better and better! Likewise, today is another fantastic day spent with the Lord. Started off the day by waking up at around 10a.m. and made my way to expo. Met up with Xiao-hei (Lexmi) and Tiffany at expo, and then we proceeded to hall 8 for the talentime at 12p.m.

Talentime had contestants performing dance, vocal, band, hosting, drama and even rapping! Fierce competition indeed, each competitor really gave their best and the performance is great. There is like so much undiscovered talents out there! The Emerge event is really a great event as it really helps to pick out the different talents available.

Until around 3p.m, the talentime program ended and Lexmi left us to join her cellgroup. So left with Tiffany and I. Went to hall 7 to look for Guisheng (He's supporting Jinlong for the NYP captain's ball event). We headed to the foodcourt to eat after awhile and also packed lunch for Jinlong.

Went back to hall 7 at 4p.m and had to queue for awhile before we can actually enter hall 8. Praise the Lord that even thou the crowd and the queue is long today, we manage to get in and secure seats. Today's event includes, make-up, costume, and design finals, "Who wants to become a missoniary" finals.

And really amazed by the design talents of the young people in the competition. There are able to design the costumes all by themselves and also professional make-ups on their own model. For the "Who wants to become a missionary" finalist, only one team got the max prize money which is $500 cash EACH (one team 3 member).

And we got Liu Gen Hong from Taiwan (good friend of Jay Chou) to sing two songs for us. After the 2nd song, He invited his girlfriend up on stage, and thats where he proposed to her right infront of all the crowd. Wow very romantic indeed, public proposal. And she agreed! (Well, she can't say no =x).

Pastor Kong decided that today the place is filled with Love, therefore the preaching is shortened, and today yes, the word is all about how much we love our precious God. Do we love Him as much as he love us? Are we willing to give up our life for Jesus whom gave up His for us?

And today, we ended at 9.50p.m. Where we actually get a chance to go bedok (about 10 of us from N20) to fellowship(we reached at 10.45p.m.) But yah, two different tables and after eating we just went home as it was already 11.30p.m.

Here I am, blogging, about the wonderful today, that is so well spent in my father's house. I am so looking forward to tomorrow, which is the very last day of EMERGE 2007. Hope that my friends, you all would be able to turn up for the finale tomorrow, where it would be packed with lots of people. Therefore if you are really coming. Do come 1-2 hour earlier.

Hi everyone!

I'm back! Yesterday after the event I was so tired I didn't have the strength to blog about it. Alright, what I'm talking about is the EMERGE 2007 on Friday (1june07).

Its was a pity that I missed out the morning service due to work. However I manage to enter the night service without much difficulties, or should I say, no queuing up? Met up with Tiffany at Tanah Merah and went expo to look for the rest and yeah the seating is surely better than the Thursday service. I suppose that its because its a weekday, that's why the service is much more emptier today.

Alright, so the day is filled up with competitions like the manhunt and beauty pageant. Oh I must say that our youth in City Harvest Church is really good looking PLUS eloquent. Wow wow wow, this is really one event that you should not miss.

And the spelling bee contestants. Goodness gracious, they are so amazing, they can spell those words when I have never heard before in my whole life. Oh well, maybe its just me. But seriously, they shocked me.

Oh up next, We have.. DARREN AND DIYA, male and female winner from project superstar! Yeah, great voice, great music. They really made the crowd and their fans go wild. Yeah, everywhere you'll see lightsticks, handphone lights, swaying side to side. That includes us as well, thanks to the people in N20 for providing lightsticks. Amazing sight indeed.

And the word preached by Pastor Kong Hee today, its about walking with God and stepping out in faith. Very very good sermon as usual.

We prayed and sang and got so high. The atmosphere is really so great. We ended at around 10.30p.m. Therefore there wasn't time for as to fellowship as it's getting late. Therefore me and Jinlong too the shuttle bus home.

When I got home, my mood was all ready for the EMERGE on Saturday. So I'll see yah peeps for EMERGE on saturday! Take care lots and God bless all of ya!
