I lack and I lack and I lack of sleep.

Yesterday's Kbox outing was great. We had Gillian, Eulynn, Charis, Chun Shu, Rickson, Guisheng, Jinlong, Sheng Long, Kelvin and of course me. Took the same package as I did on Tuesday, 7p.m. - 2a.m. (nearly went mad).

Some of them went off in between because they either had school or work tomorrow. Like-wise for me, but ya, kinda lost track of the time and decided to stay on. So, Gillian, Rickson, Chun Shu, Sheng Long, Jinlong and me we stayed till 12+ and decided to go for dinner/supper. After that took cab home at 1a.m. and fell asleep at 2.22a.m (or rather, the last time when I checked on my handphone).

Yes, of course if this goes on, I'll probably #1, die of lack of rest and also #2, die from cash flow problems.

Time really flies, the end of my SIP just gets nearer and nearer. 3 more weeks to holidays, then till school reopens for our MP and then Graduate! And then National Service, and then work all the way.

Think about it, shouldn't you enjoy life while you are youthful? Because some things now (like playing computer games, going out often and do stupid stuffs) are those that you'll probably have no time or unable to do in the future. Think about it.

Wow, how many donkey days haven I been blogging? 3 long long days, well because I hadn't had the mood to blog due to the flu.

I can't say I've recovered fully, probaby around 70%? Because currently still having a slight cough and running nose. And the worse is, all my medicine ran out 2 days ago except for cough syrup which is left with a last serving.

But hey, like what my friend told me, the cross have 2 sides to it. One side is salvation and the other is healing! Our God is a God of healing! So fear not because I know my Lord will heal me when the time is right! Prayer and prayer is the only thing I should be doing.

There is this line that has been ringing in my head for quite sometime and I feel I should probably pen it down, so here goes:

"Live what you preach."

I realise that I haven been doing that. I mean during this period of time when I was sick, I realise that it was a test from God to me, to test my level of faith. And yes indeed, how little it was, my faith. It wobble the moment something came and knock against it.

Due to weariness from the illness, I did not pray as much, forget to give grace, too tired to think of my Lord. I knew it wasn't right, but at that point of time, my mentality was "I'm too tired to care". I missed out cellgroup, service, prayer meeting all within one week (although I went for make-up cg but still no fellowship.)

My point here is, that indeed every circumstances in our life is created by God in order to test us for our faith and our love for him. Therefore I thank my Lord in this circumstance that made me realise how far apart I made myself to be from the Lord.

Distance between you and Him is decided by you, He would always be right beside you, but it depends on whether you'll allow Him to. Just like the Holy Spirit knocking on our doors, waiting for us to open it...

Well, although I'm sick for like 5 days which I'm unable to eat properly, sleep properly, work properly...


But hey!.. God save my day.. =D

Hi everyone!

I'm back! Yesterday after the event I was so tired I didn't have the strength to blog about it. Alright, what I'm talking about is the EMERGE 2007 on Friday (1june07).

Its was a pity that I missed out the morning service due to work. However I manage to enter the night service without much difficulties, or should I say, no queuing up? Met up with Tiffany at Tanah Merah and went expo to look for the rest and yeah the seating is surely better than the Thursday service. I suppose that its because its a weekday, that's why the service is much more emptier today.

Alright, so the day is filled up with competitions like the manhunt and beauty pageant. Oh I must say that our youth in City Harvest Church is really good looking PLUS eloquent. Wow wow wow, this is really one event that you should not miss.

And the spelling bee contestants. Goodness gracious, they are so amazing, they can spell those words when I have never heard before in my whole life. Oh well, maybe its just me. But seriously, they shocked me.

Oh up next, We have.. DARREN AND DIYA, male and female winner from project superstar! Yeah, great voice, great music. They really made the crowd and their fans go wild. Yeah, everywhere you'll see lightsticks, handphone lights, swaying side to side. That includes us as well, thanks to the people in N20 for providing lightsticks. Amazing sight indeed.

And the word preached by Pastor Kong Hee today, its about walking with God and stepping out in faith. Very very good sermon as usual.

We prayed and sang and got so high. The atmosphere is really so great. We ended at around 10.30p.m. Therefore there wasn't time for as to fellowship as it's getting late. Therefore me and Jinlong too the shuttle bus home.

When I got home, my mood was all ready for the EMERGE on Saturday. So I'll see yah peeps for EMERGE on saturday! Take care lots and God bless all of ya!

Do you often feel this strong sense of emptiness in you?

Does it always leads you to self-pitying and feeling all lousy about yourself and others?

I'm sure everyone of us here, exprience that before. No one in this world is perfect, because God created us in a way, such that we learn about our flaws and understand the need to worship Him, to show him glory, and also the importance of Him in our lifes.

You must be wondering, what has that got to do with the emotional emptiness we feel? I'll go deeper into that later, but before that, I want you to know that we all sin, because no one is perfect, BUT that is not an excuses for you to sin, remember that well.

Self-pitying is nothing but just an emotional that is just wanting others to shower more attention on you. But there is a contradiction about it, when u self pity, you do not respect yourself, because you feel lousy about yourself, YET you wish others to have more attention on you.

God created us in a way that, no matter how much we've achieved in our lifes, no matter how successful we are, we are always not satisfied. Yes, that is greed for wealth, but besides wealth, there is a hunger for the holy spirit. Many Christians do not believe in the holy trinity, which is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are the 3 forms of God. (I'll talk more about this in the next post)

Most non-believers and even baby christians think that being a christian would make your life a bed a roses. Yes indeed like pastor Kong Hee (CHC senior pastor) said, "in reference to lying on a bed of roses, 1st you feel the roses, then the thorns." Being a christian is not an easy task, because God is set to test your faith, your hunger for him.

When God build us, he created this hole, this space in our hearts. That we'll eventually need him in our life. The holy spirit is constantly knocking on the doors in our hearts, it is up to us in order to allow it in. God would not force you to do things, it all depends on your ATTITUDE. If God were to force us to be who He wants, then He would not need to create us in the 1st place. God created us to love Him, to accompany Him, to share joy with Him, to be his bestest friend!

Dear friends, the emptiness you're feeling in your life is not just emotionally, but spiritually. When you allow Holy spirit into your life, do not expect a change over night. The Holy Spirit would mould you taking time as you ALLOW it to.

Do you want to fill that part of your life up? Or do you wish to leave it empty like before.
Do you feel that I'm speaking rubbish to you right now? If it is so, why are there so many people speaking the same things?

ARE YOU willing? willing to step out in faith, step out of your comfort zone? You choose your path now, because the time is near and you must make your choice today.

No one can force you which route to take, you must decide for yourself.
