I feel so blessed. Thank you Sebastian for lending jL the book, and thank you jL for lending me in turn. Well, because right now I am reading this book titled "
Good morning, Holy Spirit" written by Benny Hinn.
The book really changed my perspective towards the Holy trinity, towards the Holy spirit! Like many others, I've always thought that holy spirit is just a unseen presence and felt as if that it was lesser as compared to God the Father & Son. But this book really made a 360degree turn for me. I really wish to be the same as Benny Hinn - indulging and having communion with the spirit daily and really make Him your personal friend and someone to talk to.
If you feel that somehow somewhere you are stucked in your spiritual growth, you should go read this book because that might be really what you are lacking. I finally found what I was lacking, my own private time with Him (and that is what He desire!!! communion, fellowship!). It's really important that we seek Him daily and really spend time talking, sharing and having Fun (yes FUN!) with Him.
Alright, I gotta be heading for bed now, thank God that I am not working tonight (finally OFF!) and also because I have AIM (
Animation &
Illustration
Ministry) orientation tonight.
Good "nights" (its afternoon now...) to everyone out there. I pray that those that are struggling in your faith to grow stronger and mature in the Lord (the key for that is fellowshipping!) and also I pray that my friends out there that have yet to receive Jesus Christ as your saviour and Lord would really one day open up to Him because He is the one and only that you'll ever need!
Take care my beloved friends, God bless.

I will do anything to obey my parents but if ANYTHING that means disobeying God, I WILL NOT DO IT!!!"]junyong

Good morning everyone!
Ok, 1st off, I must say I am quite tired right now because I just ended work and reached home.
But I came online anyway, to actually do something about the ARMY letter I've received last month, cause I was going to do the NS documentation. But decided to come blog because...
its,
me and Ai's
13th Month together!
Happy 1 year and 1 month!!!~
Really thank God for putting us together and blessing our relationship. I remember we started off when I really wasn't with God and how immature we were last time. But thank God that I came to know Him and really we commit our relationship on this solid rock Christ Jesus that made our relationship stable. Although at time we have little fights and disagreement, I believe that God made it this way so that we can really build up ourselves together and really God is testing us and helping us to grow more and more each day.
So darling, I pray that as we continue to make Jesus the center, the pivot point of our relationship, we would be able to grow much mature spiritually and also that our character and attitude would be more Christ-like. And I truly believes that God loves us and I love you too, also pray that God would continue to bless this relationship, helping us through the trials we face. I also pray for all the friends that have helped or prayed for us to keep our relationship together strong. God bless you all!
And, I got prompt to visit Benjamin's blog and oh boy. Ben, your blog nearly made me weep, because I REALLY MISS SLEEPING AT NIGHT!!~ But well, I know this shift (moments ago, the one I just came back from) is your "so-called" last shift already because school's starting and you won't be working anymore. But I really want to thank God for putting you into so many shifts with me.
I must say that throughout all this time spent, I've learn alot from you and I believe you are inspiring to me. Your commitment for Jesus, for church events, and also the way your handle problems. I really can see that even for a young believer, you are rather mature spiritually. Congrats to your water bapt and I pray that you'll continue to grow stronger and mature in the Lord and remember that in whatever you do, the Lord is always with you. God Bless.
If Anan happen to read my blog, I really just wanna say thank you. Because even though at the start of this event, my impression with him is seriously not very good. But after sometime and some unhappy events and some understanding, I realise that for everything to change, I must 1st change myself, my atittude. Although the 1st few times when I was asked to clean the console, I wasn't very willing to. But as I told myself that, I must do everything as doing unto the Lord, I realise that I am happy in whatever I do because every act is an act of worship!
And when I change this attitude, I realise that Anan's attitude towards me changed too! Because he sees that I became willing to work, willing to do. Therefore his impression for me changed too I guess. Maybe to many fellow colleagues reading this, they would disagree strongly. But I must say, why bang against a rock? And sorry I ain't talking about BOOT-LICKING here, I am really talking about
changing your attitude towards working. No point hoping for anything to change if you don't first change yourself.
Alright people, have a blessed day ahead. I'm heading for the shower and my bed next. See ya all!

God is faithful. He really is.
Because I got my pay today! He knows that I need my pay because I have no money left already. Therefore I am really thankful for that. And also for this job even though in the beginning I have many complains and rants, but God made me realise why He put me into this job. Because He wants me to appreciate Him for it. (Since I prayed for a job and He gave me one immediately!)
The job also gave me the opportunity to really do QT every single night, it helps me to discipline myself to do it since I have nothing to do (initially). But now, I am really doing it because I love to do it! I really love spending my time, alone with God, just enjoying His presence and to dwell in His word. Also I'm like re-reading the purpose driven life (you can find this book on the right hand side of this blog, scroll down.) and this book like I've said before, is really great.
Re-reading it again and writing it down actually helps me to absorb more. As I've come to a greater understanding of why on earth did God create me for and also how much He love me. I've grown to love Him more and more daily.
Tonight (or rather morning..) I was reading the bible and I came across this verse, [1 Cor 11:14-15 NIV]. The verse basically says that man with long hair is a disgrace and woman should have long hair. Wow, I didn't know that seriously. So ya, I'm kinda glad that at least my hair is short. But I would leave it to be longer because it looks much nicer. It would not be as long as like a girl or whatever but neither would it be as short as (NOW!) a secondary school kid!!!
Right now, I go through my everyday by starting off with thanksgiving because we really must be grateful for everything that God gave us. If you are thinking, "nah, look at the problems I'm having now." but why not you try thinking about the rest of the other things that God blessed you with? (like your every breath and ability to do things you like,
food to eat, family and friends to show care for you,
books to read, bed to sleep in,
TV to watch, house to live in,
computer and internet to read my blog, money to spend,
clothes to wear, shops to shop in,
transportation that takes you around, fan for comfort, etc... There is so much
MORE that you can give thanks in! Aren't you and I fortunate enough already?)
Alright, I believe that everyone of us, should be thankful for everything we have. OK, lets not talk about giving thanks to God, but how many of us actually thank our parents that care for us, that cook for us, that provide for us, that sent us to school. Or even someone that helps you hold the lift/door, someone that gives you directions?
I thank God for every single one of you in my life. Because I believe each one of you made a difference in my life regardless of how much or how little you did. I love you all, my family, my love, my friends, my buddies, my colleagues, everyone. And I really mean it. God bless all of you.

Good morning to all.
You must be wondering what am I doing at 4.30a.m with blogger. But because I went to bed at 11p.m and woke up at 3a.m and had been listening to
Joyce Meyer's podcast since then till now. I kinda have a revelation that I wish to share with you about.
I remember previously I talked about Christianity life is
not a bed of roses, and that is really super true. Why? It's funny that most people really see things so magically. By being a christian does not make you free from sins, you do not transform
immediately even after salvation (born again).
What we really need to do is to renew our minds and heart. It's not a bed of roses because it does not comes automatically, we have to
DO it. Look at the commandment, "love your neighbors and people around you". Doesn't that sound easy? But what really is difficult is the
DOING part. We tend to expect a tree out from everyone, but nobody realise that we have to start from a
SEED! It is not a immediate thing, we grow slowly, with sufficient nutrients and nourishing! It is an action that is not easy to take and it really takes some time.
Just heard the podcast about complaining, and it is so true we spend much of our time daily complaining about this and that. And the truth is that, no amount of complaining would change the circumstance you are in. Instead, it traps you in the circumstance more and more that you'll eventually sink in.
I just realise that, hey, there are actually more things in this world that we ought to be thankful rather than complaining. A few things you could thank God for right now: The air that you breathe, Life, your limbs (if you have them), family and friends, a computer with internet to use, my blog, this message, and
NOW! Look, we really do take things for granted ain't we? And when God takes it back, we complaing and grumble like it's actually ours in the first place.
The road is
narrow and it isn't as easy to walk on as imagined. But this is the test from God. Does a examiner set an easy examination paper for a important examination? Imagine that God is like a coach, teaching us and helping us along the way, and then really putting us to a test so as to select us for the olympics. Common sense tells us that the coach would not just select a student any-o-how to join the competition. It is really after careful and fine selection for the best. Yes, like an interview.
So it is not base on our own strength and might to walk this road because He is there to support and help us. But it is up to us to
make the decision right now. A teacher can give you all the knowledge you need to pass the test, but
how much do you appreciate and want to pass the test? The answer is there, but the
choice is for you to make.
The road is yours to take, and I'm not talking about the test we take in school, but the tests that are given to us in our daily life.
Slacking, not studying, not learning and
FAIL.orWork hard, learn, study, endure hardship,
PASS and
SUCCESS.[ Side tracking a little, because I don't want to make a new post to push this post down. Making us of this chance, I'd like to thank my Aiai for her strong support to keep my fire burning for God, and also jL that constantly helps to motivate me towards my goals. I believe with strong relationships and encouragement like that, I'm able to move on stronger towards my destiny! And to make things a little sparkling and exciting here, I've decided to come up with a plan, that is I will always try to create some art work to post it up here, so this would be like a mini art gallery of mine. I can't say my work is good or that I'll constant post it up, but at least I think I should just try since I've got this vision for animation and a sudden re-interest in 3d modelling. Go go Junyong, I can do it! So can you! ]junyongK.Labels: art, bed of roses, choice, decision, encouragement, failure, GOD, Joyce meyer, junyongk, revelation, success, thanksgiving

Oh yeah, this is great, finally we have our very own N20 cap! And also tomorrow N20 is gonna head down to sentosa for some sunny sandy fun! Been wanting to go sentosa for very long ever since I missed the last outing with 8wF. But well, heres the chance to go sentosa again. Yay.
Oh yeah, Bon voyage to Mandy, this time is she going off to... some land. Lol, I'm sorry, I didn't catch the name of the place. Well, shes got her bf with her, so don't worry guys, she is in good hands. Haha.
And thank you Jason and Sebastian, thanks for the prata treat earlier at thompson, with all the jokes and stuffs. I feel really blessed, thanks Jason for the subsidised cab fare as well (my frens are great because I paid like $5 only? for prata and midnight cab fare... *grateful!!*).
Really excited about the outing tomorrow, and I wonder is the other members as excited as me, because most of them are coming in the afternoon, it makes sentosa not fun without the sun ya know.
And oh yes oh yes!! My very first birthday card from City Harvest!!!~ Wooo, it feels really good to be a part of this big family, especially with one great God.
Indeed, where our treasure is there our heart will be, like what pastor said during the offering session, [Acts 4:32 NIV]
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. It is the same to God as well, He should be our piority, giving to Him is not because He needed that money, but that act of faith, that act of thanks giving and God surely would bless you (He did). And I experience that today, thank God for the wonderful blessings from my fellow brothers and sisters. Hallelujah!

Been away for 4 long days and I'm finally back, but I must say this week end is really so great.
A little update, friday we went to Marina to celebrate Edmund's Birthday (Actual Day) and Huiyin's Birthday (Advanced).
Happy Birthday Edmund and Huiyin!!and so we had a "gathering" after a very long period of absence from one another. After the dinner, we went to the arcade and a few of us played number ball. (pool on billard table). After that some went home and some went to pub. (I went home.) Sorry girl.
The next day we had the 2nd day of
Festival of Praise 2007 at the Singapore Indoor stadium (SIS)!! (ok I missed the 1st day.) It's a festival where the churches in Singapore come together as one and worship God together and also praying for our nation and leaders. This festival had been going on for 21 years already, which is really great. The atmosphere is really good with enthu people around you and you can really feel the presence of God Dwelling among us.
We had Don Moen and Delirious (google them if you don't know who they are) to sing for the festival. And words can't describe how good it felt to be over there. Everyone is putting their hands up and jumping up and down. Yes, like a rock concert and it is a concert put up for God.
For Sunday, we went to woodlands for cg meeting and then took Gillian's car down to SIS, met up with Ai there and yeah! Another fantastic day with God.
Feeling that you've missed out this great event? Fear not, join me for next year's!!! (August 1 - 3, 2008)

Oh, did I mention that I did not go for work yesterday? Well, was really tired and stuffs like that, so I ended up sleeping till 2p.m noon. Got plentiful of rest, and was awake to complete some coding. Of course with help from my Ai, we finally got the login page done. But when I was trying to implement it in another page, the session doesn't seem to work.
Frustrating, because the database issue have not been ironed out yet, and I haven been hearing anything from my boss either. A possibility is that, they have already forgotten me. I certain do not hope so, and wish that they can flood me with the files I need to upload. At least that gives me a guideline of what to expect (the workload), rather than last minute floods.
And I realise, my current progress is like 5% of my total, maybe lesser. Yet, I have got only 10 days (or 7 days excluding working days) to complete this intranet web. But like Ai said, we are to give our best even more than what was required, because Greater is He who's in me. I believe I am able to complete it within time, and surely I can make everyone happy.
Praise the Lord.
Let me remind myself with these 2 lines:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/honour_the_afghan_code/tf.phpThe above link leads to an online petition by avaaz.org regarding the capture of the 23 Korean hostages. The petition seeks to remind the Taliban members of their own code, which is a principle of giving hospitality to all especially guests and strangers.
Therefore please take the time to visit the above link, sign the petition and also forward it to your friends. So that this petition can serve as a reminder to the Taliban about their very own code of practice.
It was told that 10.30pm singapore time today, 9 of them would be executed should the demands of the Taliban are not met. Lets keep the 22 Korean members(alive) in our prayer, pray most importantly for their safety over there and may the mighty hand of God move in the Taliban leaders to make them release the hostages.
Spread this global prayer chain and start praying now. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY !!~
to my
greatest DADDY and all the lovely Father's out there, providing and taking care of the family, and also being a role model, setting examples and standard, and also the decision maker to lead the family to greater heights just like how a boss would.
and, also to our
Heavenly Father for He created us with grace and we should be so honour that we are given the authority to rule the earth and also able to shine in the glory of God. Thank you my Father for loving me and just being here able to worship you.
AND,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!~
to my
BELOVED MUMMY, for she has shower unconditioned love for the 3 of us. We ought to be thankful to God for we are able to be born into this loving family that we have here. I love my Mom and my Dad and my brothers.so well tonight, its me and my elder brother preparing the dinner. We're currently cooking bak kut teh, Mandarin Sausage with egg, Beansprouts with shrimps, Snow peas, and Winter melon with sago. Oh but well, Mummy decided to join in the cooking. So yeah, we completed the Winter melon with sago without the winter melon (adding it in later.).
I suppose the dinner tonight would be wonderful, because it contains love and effort made, so the taste don't really matter I suppose.
God Bless all the Fathers out there, and also the Mothers for they have spent so much time of their life nurturing us into what we are today, so we ought to give all the glory to God and remember to be filial to your parents and constantly showing your love for them.
Take care and once again, Happy Father's Day.

Finally, after a long absence from the breezing wind at east coast park, today I finally went back again to blade with my 2 working colleague. Jk bladed and Zhang Qin cycled because they had a REHAU bowling company outing and she hurt her back, which I didnt go because I had a planetshakers convert by New Creation Church. But hey hey, don't get me wrong, I went because of planetshakers and not because of New Creation, I'm a loyal harvester haha.
Alright so my day started off at 9a.m where i woke up and realise I was meeting them at 10a.m. so well i rushed and prepared, but ended up with a tummy ache. When I was going out, I prayed that the rain would stop and the floor would be dry. And so I rushed out and 10a.m and decided to cab down. Spent around 11 bucks for the cab.
Met up and we ate our brunch at parkway parade and the rain really stopped and the floor is really quite dry (but well I forgot to tell God to not rain anymore, I only ask for it to stop now and floor dry, didn't pray for the whole day to not rain). Walked/bladed to the Macdonald's at east coast park(ECP) and Zhang Qin rented her bike and JK's got his own blades. So we made our way to lagoon, sat down to rest and drink. (I saw Jim and Jinyao there too).
5 mins later it started to rain, so we decided to head back. Who knows that halfway through, the rain got really big, and its quite a distance away to Macdonald's. So the 3 of us are really soaked, from head to toe. And the main problem was, that my initial plan was to go skate in the morning, and late afternoon I'm suppose to change and go for Church service (Singapore Expo Hall 1[temp at hall 1, usual hall 8] City Harvest Church).
But my pants were soaked and I only brought an extra shirt. So we decided to take a cab home, and I'm heading for my girlfriend's house because its near and at the same time I can meet her =). So I went barefooted(because I don't want to wet my shoe, as Macdonald's had a flood outside) from Starbucks to Mac to taxi stand to my girlfriend house. Where I bathe and dried my pants, bag, book, practically everything.
After about 2 hours spent there, and I was late for service because I lost track of time, so well, took cab again (3rd time in a day... ) and well I sat alone for the service but hey hey it was really good as I go jumping up and down =D.
After that I had a make up Cellgroup at pasir ris, so took cab AGAIN with my zone members. And cell group all the way until 10p.m. where after that we went for dinner and I met up with Jinlong to go home together.
So yeap, as you can see, my whole day in summary is: Cabbing, Blading, WET, Cabbing, Girlfriend, Cabbing, God, Cabbing, God. Indeed, its the very 1st time I've spent so much money on cabbing in a day. 4 cabbing trip like this I think I can take around 20+ bus rides.
And you should notice that today I blogged out the whole detailed journey of my day, well, because I thought you might be interested to update you guys about my life every now and then, I mean thats if anything interesting happen like today, or else it'll be boring for you to hear about my daily life and routines.
Anyway, the most important message of the day:
GOD loves ME and YOU!! (everything He does and give, its because He loves you dearly)God Bless all, take good care of yourself. Cya soon!~

(Weee~)
Wow, how many donkey days haven I been blogging? 3 long long days, well because I hadn't had the mood to blog due to the flu.
I can't say I've recovered fully, probaby around 70%? Because currently still having a slight cough and running nose. And the worse is, all my medicine ran out 2 days ago except for cough syrup which is left with a last serving.
But hey, like what my friend told me, the cross have 2 sides to it. One side is salvation and the other is healing! Our God is a God of healing! So fear not because I know my Lord will heal me when the time is right! Prayer and prayer is the only thing I should be doing.
There is this line that has been ringing in my head for quite sometime and I feel I should probably pen it down, so here goes:
"Live what you preach."
I realise that I haven been doing that. I mean during this period of time when I was sick, I realise that it was a test from God to me, to test my level of faith. And yes indeed, how little it was, my faith. It wobble the moment something came and knock against it.
Due to weariness from the illness, I did not pray as much, forget to give grace, too tired to think of my Lord. I knew it wasn't right, but at that point of time, my mentality was "I'm too tired to care". I missed out cellgroup, service, prayer meeting all within one week (although I went for make-up cg but still no fellowship.)
My point here is, that indeed every circumstances in our life is created by God in order to test us for our faith and our love for him. Therefore I thank my Lord in this circumstance that made me realise how far apart I made myself to be from the Lord.
Distance between you and Him is decided by you, He would always be right beside you, but it depends on whether you'll allow Him to. Just like the Holy Spirit knocking on our doors, waiting for us to open it...
Well, although I'm sick for like 5 days which I'm unable to eat properly, sleep properly, work properly...
But hey!..
God save my day.. =D

Do you often feel this strong sense of emptiness in you?
Does it always leads you to self-pitying and feeling all lousy about yourself and others?
I'm sure everyone of us here, exprience that before. No one in this world is perfect, because God created us in a way, such that we learn about our flaws and understand the need to worship Him, to show him glory, and also the importance of Him in our lifes.
You must be wondering, what has that got to do with the emotional emptiness we feel? I'll go deeper into that later, but before that, I want you to know that we all sin, because no one is perfect, BUT that is not an excuses for you to sin, remember that well.
Self-pitying is nothing but just an emotional that is just wanting others to shower more attention on you. But there is a contradiction about it, when u self pity, you do not respect yourself, because you feel lousy about yourself, YET you wish others to have more attention on you.
God created us in a way that, no matter how much we've achieved in our lifes, no matter how successful we are, we are always not satisfied. Yes, that is greed for wealth, but besides wealth, there is a hunger for the holy spirit. Many Christians do not believe in the holy trinity, which is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are the 3 forms of God. (I'll talk more about this in the next post)
Most non-believers and even baby christians think that being a christian would make your life a bed a roses. Yes indeed like pastor Kong Hee (CHC senior pastor) said, "in reference to lying on a bed of roses, 1st you feel the roses, then the thorns." Being a christian is not an easy task, because God is set to test your faith, your hunger for him.
When God build us, he created this hole, this space in our hearts. That we'll eventually need him in our life. The holy spirit is constantly knocking on the doors in our hearts, it is up to us in order to allow it in. God would not force you to do things, it all depends on your ATTITUDE. If God were to force us to be who He wants, then He would not need to create us in the 1st place. God created us to love Him, to accompany Him, to share joy with Him, to be his bestest friend!
Dear friends, the emptiness you're feeling in your life is not just emotionally, but spiritually. When you allow Holy spirit into your life, do not expect a change over night. The Holy Spirit would mould you taking time as you ALLOW it to.
Do you want to fill that part of your life up? Or do you wish to leave it empty like before.
Do you feel that I'm speaking rubbish to you right now? If it is so, why are there so many people speaking the same things?
ARE YOU willing? willing to step out in faith, step out of your comfort zone? You choose your path now, because the time is near and you must make your choice today.
No one can force you which route to take, you must decide for yourself.
will you step out today?..

Dear Friends,

(click for more info)
Lately I've been reading a book my friend,
Jinlong recommended to me called, "The Purpose Driven Life, What On Earth Am I Here For?" written by Rick Warren. The book has sold over 16 MILLION copies and it is the #1 best-seller in New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Publisher's Weekly.
I strongly recommend this book because:
- Tells you how much GOD loves you (this one reason is already worthy for you to get the book).
- Explainations about bible verses.
- Cast out mis-conception in most people.
- Guilds you step by step to finding your true purpose of living.
- Improves your lifestyles, habits, etc..
- Build up your spiritual maturity.
- Change your attitude towards life.
- IT CHANGES YOUR LIFE!!
This book have caused a great impact on my life!
Why?, you asked. After only being through half the book, I'm already a changed man! You need proof? What you are reading right now is the best proof.
Many people at the 1st impression from this blog would say, "oh, its another one of the money-earning blogs". Yes, I don't deny it. Its true, I've just started out and I'm trying to fund my allowance from this place, no doubt about it (and it would only be possible with support from you all).
But that is just the surface level, I do not create this blog just to earn money, earning money here is a secondary issue. The reason why I created this blog is because I felt the need to share with people out there about amazing things happening in my life.
I used to hate writing, my previous blogs were just a whole chunk of blabbers about my life. I post like mountains of wordings that doesn't make sense. My attitude towards myself and people were wrong, I self-pity and was self-centered. Pride matters everything to me. I didn't accept losing, I was a sore-loser. I don't set out to win yet I do not admit defeat.
After I submitted myself to Christ, I read the bible and I learnt alot about God (stay with me, don't flame me yet), about His teachings, the way of life. After reading this book it gives a deeper insight into Christainity life, it teachs me how to live, The steps I must take in order to find the true purposes of my existence. Everything inside is a reminder, a guild to what you should do.
The non-believers after reading this would say, "we do not believe in Christ, therefore we should not buy this book." Look at it this way, do you not buy things you do not need? Do you not buy things that do not benefit you at all? Do you not waste money on brands and worthless items? If you do, then what is spending money on something that BENEFITS you?
This book teaches all about living, the life we were created to live, the morals and attitude we should live by, and NOT simply about being a christian alone. Being a christian and not following the teachings and commandments is not being a true christian at all.
Look at all the benefits, what have you got to lose? Go through a 40-day spiritual journey with me. Don't procrastinate because it would bring you nowhere, ideas and actions just gets accumulated and thrown away somewhere at the back of the brain. Get your copy now.
