An once a year event, held by City Harvert Church which is a must not miss event. This event aims to promote youth to compete and display (in order to find out) the talents they have in them. It also aims to build salvation in campus, school and workplace.
It is a 4-day event from 31May(Thurs) - 3June(Sun) with fun filled exciting programs and competition like, Word Power finals, Parade of Schools (POS, cheer leading), Debate finals, Beauty pageant and man hunt competition and more!

I'm telling you now that that is wrong. For everything in life, theres cheers beer.
Here we go, the famous cheers beer advertisement!
Hope that this video really made your day, because it made mine. I've watched this video over like maybe 30 - 40 times already. I just don't get sick of it.
Very amazed and attracted to the idea of this advertisement, it just uniquely stands out from the rest of the beer adverts I've seen. A very creative way of presenting a product like beer. Some might feel that its really lame because they are exaggerating the reactions.
But its really true, for everything in life, we REJOICE! Be thankful for what you have. If you know the fact that God created you, with nothing with you when you were born, then you should rejoice now that you have so much with you.
Most of all rejoice, for the real treasure for you is in heaven. Rejoice in every circumstances you face, be it difficult ones or good ones. We learn by falling down.
For those of you reading that is staying in Singapore, you would have notice that there is this new drink, a product of Singapore, called "Whatever" and "anything". Ok they are really creative and smart to capture the market like this because people often can not make up their minds on choice of drink.
And for your information, in the drink advertisement, if you've notice, its the same crew from the advertisement of cheers beer. They are from thailand and I really feel that the acting of the actor is really realistic and great.
Hope that you really do enjoy the advertisements by them. Have a great week ahead!

The 8wheelFREAKs
(individuals in this video have been trained, please do not try this without proper supervision)
Once again, it's the classic video of the 8wheelFREAKs.
Wow, the few of us have come a long long way together. Old buddies for 7 years now. Yeah we've been through lots of downs before we could even blade, and that now everyone of us are able to blade. Most of us even got our own blades.
I could remember that in the past I could not even brake (no brake pads), and I do not even have my own pair of blades. But after much urban exprience, and much of training and encouragement from fellow skaters. I've picked it up and going to the east coast park to skate is like a usual routine for us every week. I've even manage to buy a pair of blades and of cause got my parents agreement.
Improvements and improvements, not only did we learn how to skate normally, we learn slides like hockey, acid, powerslide(most of it you'll see in the vid). And together we form the 8wheelFREAKS, used to be 8 of us(it was a coincidence) then it became like only 5 -7 skating. And now that we are all busy with our work, army and other stuffs. Meeting up is already being a problem to us.
Nevertheless, the 8wheelFREAK spirit is always there. We would not give up our sport and the spirit in us never dies. We are gonna rise each time we fall, no matter how many times we are struck down.
Been having long thoughts to skate and skate well? Tell yourself you can do it and just go and give your best for it. (of cos find someone who would guide you.)
One thing we've learn, nothing is impossible as long as you try.

Here comes the question of the day!~

Dear friends please take care of your health and avoid being sick (like me T_T). The weather in Singapore is changing so rapidly that colds and coughs are inevitable. And here I go coughing and sneezing and everyone else in the office too.
A few advice to those who are sick out there:
- Drink plenty of water (lukewarm - warm, preferably 10tons.)
- See a doctor if it is really bad. (maybe the throat specialist?)
- Make it a habit to eat vegetables and fruits. (orange kills you instead)
- Sufficient intake of vitamins. (just eat more fruits)
- Most importantly, take your medicine. (get those non-drowsy ones).
This would probably be the only post I'm posting today. I'm too tired to carry on for the day, will see how things goes at night. I'll come back again, hopefully..

Lets talk about ATTITUDE today.
Before that, lets get this clear that ATTITUDE differs from characteristic and personality. Your personality and your character do not affect your ATTITUDE.
The meaning of ATTITUDE is defined from the dictionary is:
manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, esp. of the mind: a negative attitude; group attitudes.
It means that our ATTITUDE is actually the perspective, the reaction towards the things in life, be it the things we do, things we see and say, etc.. Your personality and character do not affect how you see a situation but it is your ATTITUDE that changes what you do.
If you have a positive ATTITUDE, everything would go smoothly in your eyes, because everything you'll see would be good stuffs. However, vice-versa, if your attitude is poor, the flow of life would seem against you. And people often mistaken or even blame their personality/character for their poor ATTITUDE. ATTITUDE is like the steering wheel of a vehicle while character is the wheel of the vehicle. In explaination, a good attitude drives a good character, the character would not be able to control the attitude. It is the steering wheel that steers the wheel.
Your ATTITUDE determines your ALTITUDE.
Is life against you now? What is your atittude towards it, do you blame God for the poor life, or blame yourself for your poor attitude that spoils everything. Understand that obstacles are tests from God given to you to help you learn. A mother does not carry her child forever. Mistakes help us learn.
Change your attitude before you change anything else.

Do you often feel this strong sense of emptiness in you?
Does it always leads you to self-pitying and feeling all lousy about yourself and others?
I'm sure everyone of us here, exprience that before. No one in this world is perfect, because God created us in a way, such that we learn about our flaws and understand the need to worship Him, to show him glory, and also the importance of Him in our lifes.
You must be wondering, what has that got to do with the emotional emptiness we feel? I'll go deeper into that later, but before that, I want you to know that we all sin, because no one is perfect, BUT that is not an excuses for you to sin, remember that well.
Self-pitying is nothing but just an emotional that is just wanting others to shower more attention on you. But there is a contradiction about it, when u self pity, you do not respect yourself, because you feel lousy about yourself, YET you wish others to have more attention on you.
God created us in a way that, no matter how much we've achieved in our lifes, no matter how successful we are, we are always not satisfied. Yes, that is greed for wealth, but besides wealth, there is a hunger for the holy spirit. Many Christians do not believe in the holy trinity, which is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are the 3 forms of God. (I'll talk more about this in the next post)
Most non-believers and even baby christians think that being a christian would make your life a bed a roses. Yes indeed like pastor Kong Hee (CHC senior pastor) said, "in reference to lying on a bed of roses, 1st you feel the roses, then the thorns." Being a christian is not an easy task, because God is set to test your faith, your hunger for him.
When God build us, he created this hole, this space in our hearts. That we'll eventually need him in our life. The holy spirit is constantly knocking on the doors in our hearts, it is up to us in order to allow it in. God would not force you to do things, it all depends on your ATTITUDE. If God were to force us to be who He wants, then He would not need to create us in the 1st place. God created us to love Him, to accompany Him, to share joy with Him, to be his bestest friend!
Dear friends, the emptiness you're feeling in your life is not just emotionally, but spiritually. When you allow Holy spirit into your life, do not expect a change over night. The Holy Spirit would mould you taking time as you ALLOW it to.
Do you want to fill that part of your life up? Or do you wish to leave it empty like before.
Do you feel that I'm speaking rubbish to you right now? If it is so, why are there so many people speaking the same things?
ARE YOU willing? willing to step out in faith, step out of your comfort zone? You choose your path now, because the time is near and you must make your choice today.
No one can force you which route to take, you must decide for yourself.

Lately I've been reading a book my friend, Jinlong recommended to me called, "The Purpose Driven Life, What On Earth Am I Here For?" written by Rick Warren. The book has sold over 16 MILLION copies and it is the #1 best-seller in New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Publisher's Weekly.
I strongly recommend this book because:
- Tells you how much GOD loves you (this one reason is already worthy for you to get the book).
- Explainations about bible verses.
- Cast out mis-conception in most people.

This book have caused a great impact on my life!
Why?, you asked. After only being through half the book, I'm already a changed man! You need proof? What you are reading right now is the best proof.
Many people at the 1st impression from this blog would say, "oh, its another one of the money-earning blogs". Yes, I don't deny it. Its true, I've just started out and I'm trying to fund my allowance from this place, no doubt about it (and it would only be possible with support from you all).
But that is just the surface level, I do not create this blog just to earn money, earning money here is a secondary issue. The reason why I created this blog is because I felt the need to share with people out there about amazing things happening in my life.
I used to hate writing, my previous blogs were just a whole chunk of blabbers about my life. I post like mountains of wordings that doesn't make sense. My attitude towards myself and people were wrong, I self-pity and was self-centered. Pride matters everything to me. I didn't accept losing, I was a sore-loser. I don't set out to win yet I do not admit defeat.
After I submitted myself to Christ, I read the bible and I learnt alot about God (stay with me, don't flame me yet), about His teachings, the way of life. After reading this book it gives a deeper insight into Christainity life, it teachs me how to live, The steps I must take in order to find the true purposes of my existence. Everything inside is a reminder, a guild to what you should do.
The non-believers after reading this would say, "we do not believe in Christ, therefore we should not buy this book." Look at it this way, do you not buy things you do not need? Do you not buy things that do not benefit you at all? Do you not waste money on brands and worthless items? If you do, then what is spending money on something that BENEFITS you?
This book teaches all about living, the life we were created to live, the morals and attitude we should live by, and NOT simply about being a christian alone. Being a christian and not following the teachings and commandments is not being a true christian at all.
Look at all the benefits, what have you got to lose? Go through a 40-day spiritual journey with me. Don't procrastinate because it would bring you nowhere, ideas and actions just gets accumulated and thrown away somewhere at the back of the brain. Get your copy now.

It was a fruitful trip in attending the introductory seminar held at Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group at keppel towers. The seminar was host by Stuart Tan, one of Asia's top speakers and trainers in internet marketing.
Heres a little background about his career, he achieved $400, 000 in revenue within 9months when he just started. He studied about learning models and is currently a specialist in it. The amount for his 1hour consultancy is around $2500.
In his seminar he mentioned about affilliate marketing, email marketing, using services like adsense and also about the lesson package in IMA (internet and marketing academy) which cost $2998. Sometime ago, my elder brother Zky Dennis, proposed a business plan to me. At the time, we were sorta unready for it because it seems like just a talk-only plan. So we just put it aside and since then our lifes goes on per normal.
But few days ago, it stuck us again to go for it. We've been doing quite some research and reading, we are finally going to embark on a business journey of our own. 1900hrs today my brother and I would be attending a preview seminar by Stuart Tan. The TRUTH. The LIFE. The WAY.
1. God Loves You!
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.
The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”
The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,
3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”
Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."
God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.
4. If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:
"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."
